It needs regular USB charger for a cigarette lighter port (example) since 2G systems do not deliver power to the AMI port. USB lead is 3ft long, so it is long enough to reach the cigarette lighter port and it is also very tiny, so it will be easy to hide it and it can be placed between closed glove box doors.
